MINISTER BRINETTA P. THOMAS' BIO

Minister Brinetta Princess Thomas is the daughter of Alston and Christalia Thomas. Although her parents were born and raised in St. Thomas of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Min. Brinetta is happily a native of Southern California.
In 2005, she was appointed as the International Minister of Music for the Shield of Faith Fellowship of Churches International, Inc. (www.sofcc.com) Under the direction of Bishop Henry Alexander, she has had the distinct privilege of working with musicians all around the world. Her travels have taken her to several countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Mexico.
Involved in the music ministry since the age of 8, Minister Brinetta is a musician, singer, songwriter, choir director, praise leader and anointed psalmist. She has recorded and released several gospel CD's. Her most recent project entitled 'In My Father's Arms' was released in May 2009.
Along with her duties in the Fellowship, she is an Executive Elder of the Praise Temple Apostolic Church in Long Beach, CA. An assistant to her pastor, Bishop Bruce S. Riley, she oversees several ministries in the church. Her main focus is Outreach and Evangelism. |
Min. Brinetta considers herself an ambassador of the Kingdom who is determined to share the gospel in any form necessary to win souls for Christ.

Goal: To effectively organize and utilize the musical gifts and talents within the Fellowship to the Glory of God.
Objectives:
To develop and administrative structure for the department
To coordinate and provide meaningful spirit-led praise and worship for Fellowship events
To identify, acknowledge, and build up the music related talents within the Fellowship
To support the development and expansion of music departments within the local churches

1. Register with the IMD so that you can receive information about department activities and events
2. Participate in the Fellowship Choir and other IMD events
3. Join the IMD Leadership Team. Help us develop IMD program!
4. Become a regional representative or assist your regional representative with organizing regional events.
5. Become a local representative and promote the Fellowship International Music Department at YOUR local church.
